The cottage was heaven
After a poor start to our holiday, we were half way to Cornwall from Scotland the car broke down so I hired a car to continue the journey after 17 miles we were hit by a hit & run driver and the car wrote off resulting in another hire car.
A really bad start to our holiday but the cottage and village were so nice we forgot all our problem the next day and enjoyed lovely walks on the beach and good food the cottage was heaven it had everything we needed and was very tastefully decorated a credit to the owner.

What a thoroughly lovely place. We felt comfortable and at home straight away. The location is ideal, 5ish mins walk from the beach. We are regulars to Crantock with our dogs anyway but really they loved being so close to the dunes/beach. Loved the real fireplace in the sitting room, took me straight back to my childhood. Wish we could of stayed longer. It really was a great week away even though the weather was, in parts torrential rain and thunderstorms. Had our 2 dogs with us so was worried about keeping the place clean but slate flooring throughout downstairs made it easier. Also the fact the front garden is enclosed meant we could towel the dogs down keeping the sand outside. Fab all round.

Perfectly located on the edge of the village, the cottage has lots of nice finishing touches and everything you need for a perfect stay. Excellent TV package. Just two minutes walk to the village and 10 minutes to the beach making it perfect for quite early morning strolls along the beach
